Well, I gave Lindsey the remains of her Christmas list with a letter attached to it. I wrapped it in a BOX, so she'd have no idea what was in it.

I attached a letter stating how much I loved her and wanted to spend some special time with her, and that the week after Christmas we would have a shopping spree and try to find the rest of items on her list -- or at least a FEW of the leftover items....

Bert took her to Target the day after Christmas and found M*A*S*H season 9 -- they had been out of stock by the time I tried to find it the week before. So that was crossed off the list.

BUT, today -- TODAY AND TOMORROW, to be exact -- we go out for our shopping spree. I have to work in the mornings until about 1:30 p.m., so instead of taking a whole day for shopping, we're taking two afternoons (she likes that better, anyway).

SHOPPING, GIRLS. DANA IS SHOPPING. MUST BE A LEFTOVER CHRISTMAS MIRACLE???

I think even my daugher is impressed that I would actually spend HOURS AND HOURS shopping with her!! HA HA

Well, here we go. SHOPPING. I'll let you know if I survive it.

Happy New Year!;) ;)

You tell Lindsey that if Aunt Doris lived close she would NEVER want for a shopping partner.

Lindsey says --

Now, if Aunt Doris would take me shopping AND be the money supplier, as well, THEN we can TALK!!!!! HA HA HA

We love you, Doris......

Well, we had a great day!!

We left about 1:30 and came home about 7:30 or so. We only hit 4 stores!! LOL

Lindsey found CLOTHES that fit, which I consider to be a Christmas Miracle!! REJOICE! Lindsey has a hard time finding clothes that fit her the way she likes. I'm glad that she has her own personal style, but it sure does make clothes shopping difficult. But we made some progress today.

We also found a rug for her room, some "unmentionables," a computer game, a special candle, and a few other things I've forgotten by now.....

Lots of talking and sharing. It was a good day.
