What a momentus occasion this is for me! I am typing my 1000th post since joining NazNet back in June of last year. Now that I have acheived such a great milestone, I think I'll relish the occasion and try to enjoy the triple zeros for a time and see how long I can go without posting a new message (was that a colective cheer I heard?). I sure hope the withdrawal symptoms aren't too intense.

Every time I think I am going to wean myself from Naznet something happens. I am really tying to cut down. If I could delete those 816 (yes, I counted) or so posts on the fun forum I would.
So Hal, Good Luck, I salute you!

I wonder if I can get Scott to delete one of your posts, then you won't have 1000 anymore, lol

You will certainly be stonger than most of us if you are able to wean yourself from Naznet for awhile.
I like to take a peek everyday to see what has happened, that I might have not known about, until the next issue of Holiness today came out, if I had not peeked on Naznet, and then been tempted to post something.
The post modernist, and EC's inflame me the most. They seem to be looking for new ways to win people to the Lord, and have old fashion ourpourings of the Holy Spirit, but are trying to steer as far as they can from the way we older ones have operated for years, and saw many won to Jesus, and His kingdom advanced the world round. The WORD tells us that these things come about by prayer and fasting--not by seeing how close we can straddle the line, and live as close to the world as we can, and still be sanctified, have great outpourings of the Holy Spirit, and still see God's kingdom grow, and advance on this earth. Now I need to take cover and run! lol

I get occasional joy from reading my old posts. You know...kinda how an arsonist likes to sit and enjoy his handiwork...

Well you two broke my will.

Thanks Cindy for the compliment.

As to Anne's comment regarding the PM/EC crowd, if it weren't for them, I'm not sure I would still be in the Nazarene fold.
---I'll take the comments in the remainder of her post under advisment.

Edited to add: 1001 looks pretty cool too.

I hope not. I see that the 1000 did not last long. Sure was good to be with you yesterday.

Oh, my! I have gone over 4,000 posts. If one person will write, and tell me that they wish I would not write again until the 28th of May, I will do that--and will not be sad or mad or glad. Is there another word that would rhyme, there?
