View Full Version : I deleted the "litigation" thread

I don't usually explain my reasoning when I delete a thread. This is an exception.

NazNet is a "Nazarene Friendly" site. We are not an official part of the Church of the Nazarene, but I have no desire that NazNet would ever become a problem for the denomination.

Anything posted to NazNet is in the public domain and could be used be either party in litigation. After reading my own posts and the posts of others, I decided that the risks involved in discussing on going litigation outweigh the potential benefits.

For that reason, I have deleted the entire thread.

I am also adding a rule for NazNet -- It is not appropriate to discuss matters that are in dispute in pending litigation in which any Nazarene entity is a party.

It has been a long time since the NazNet rules have changed. This is a fairly rare situation, but I wouldn't ever want to see a person pulled into litigation as a result of posting on NazNet. The rule is for the protection of all who post here.
