Person in another form says we should never voice our doubts, pain, in prayer, as satan hears and works on those weaknesses!
Now personally I don't agree with this, but how does the enemy of our souls work? We know he is not omnipresent, and we know he is limited by God's will, so how is he so affective?

It is not that "he" is so effective, but that we are so willing (James 1:13-14, 1 Peter 2:11, Eph 2:3, etc.).

Grace and Peace,

I do believe he can hear--but he himself is only in one place at a time. He has demons who can hear. I think that most people consider themselves far more important to the enemy than they really are. I do think he works to discourage, lie, steal, kill and destroy, though, so I don't think we should be naieve. What I've come to believe is that things stated in prayer are being petitioned to the Lord and if the enemy wants to eavesdrop he can throw a fit all he wants but he can't bless what the Lord has cursed or curse what he has blessed. He may be able to annoy us, and discourage us if we let him, but he can't prevent what the Lord will do.

What scripture stated what that person stated? Like you, the answer would be I don't agree. Pray away. A loving God hears your prayers as well and He is far stronger than any
