as seen on the infomercial on tv. I ordered online, hit a wrong key and ordered two instead of one. Now they are charging me 60 dollars to ship them, so the total is going to be $100. Every time you try to call them it takes 4 or 5 hrs to get an answer, and then they say 24 to 72 hours until they get your order from the internet. I think they are lying to me. I have an order number and everything and they cant find it.
What can I do? Better Business Bureau? What options do I have? How do people get away with this stuff? This is your warning! Dont buy anything you see on tv!!!!!!!

Send a certfied letter canceling your order. It might not work, but it is worth a try.

I agree that you should be very careful ordering things you see on the tv.

Googled this and there were a lot of complaints unfortunately.

You could also try contacting your credit card company. Tell them about the issue and tell them to charge back the amount to the vendor. Once the auger folks see that, they'll either call you or make sure they don't send you an auger.

In my opinion after doing business online
since 2000 and seeing one scam after another,
the fastest most assured way to get results
is to contact your credit card company
and dispute the charges.

but do understand there are 2 sides to
chargebacks because they are abused.
there are people who chargeback everything
they purchase so be sure to understand how
this may or may not impact your credit rating
and or standing with the cc company.

Lastly, please my friends,
never ever purchase something you
cannot touch, see or smell in person first.

ok I fibbed now lastly. alot of the known
infomercial scammers are still in business
even after serving prison terms. there's nothing
to stop them from running new scams and the
money is usually made in delayed or not existant
refunds, excessive shipping charges or forced upsells.
Personally I wouldn't even
make purchases from the well known long established
shows due to the potential problems in returns,
refunds and warranty work. It's not worth the
potential perceived savings.
