A mama duck hatched her little ducklings in the courtyard at my school - and since it is closed on all four sides with the building, they'll be stuck in there until they learn to fly. She started off with 11, but three died over the weekend. The remaining 8 have just become the new loves of my life - I can't stop watching them! Just a couple of pictures...

I ran and grabbed my cameria when I saw this mama and her ducklings headed down the street.

Awww ... how cute! That first one appears to be waddling around without its eyes open yet, even. The other night {Wednesday, after English class} at church a mama & daddy waddled across the parking lot, towards a woodsy place right next to the parking lot. They're perhaps raising a family there in the trees somewhere.
Anyway, it also reminds me of a few places where there are "duck crossing" signs around here. ;)
