For all of you M*A*S*H fans -- Mike Farrell was in Tucson yesterday for a book signing. So, my family drove over to Barnes and Noble fully expecting it to be too crowded for us to be able to see him, but we were pleasantly surprised. Well, especially Lindsey, the die-hard M*A*S*H fan. She was so excited!
I was able to just keep snapping pictures while we waited to get to the table. He was very pleasant and unhurried. Posed for many pictures, wrote many autographs -- can you say WRITER'S CRAMP??? LOL I would think so by the end of the day, anyway.
So, I'm sharing a few pictures of Mike Farrell. It was a fun Mother's Day outing, a little different. Enjoy....

Lindsey,
I am so envious.
I used to live in Toledo. I missed Jamie Farr by about 10 minutes in Tony Packo's one time. He was there on a casual hometown visit. Oh, so close. . .

Personally I'd like to meet Radar.......
Radar [the actor who played him] was born on my birthday so I have always felt a kinship with him :)
That is one of my favorite shows. Pretty nifty!

Is it bad to say I'd like to meet Hot Lips?

HA HA -- no, not bad! Mr. Farrell told a couple of really cute stories about the cast of M*A*S*H and their playing jokes on one another. I'm actually glad we went, it was fun.
(Although, I must tell you, Eddie -- Hot Lips is a bit too old for you these days.....)

I'm putting the green smilie here :basic05 because I'm just a little jealous.
That would be really neat to meet ANYONE from the cast.
We still watch the re-runs.

I haven't watched it for a while now; I got kind of burned out on it there for a little bit, because it seemed we watched it all the time -- so much so that Lindsey could pretty much quote most of the dialogue. LOL As it is, she knows what episodes go with which season, which season you're watching by the sound of the opening theme song......well, you get the idea. HA HA
So, right now my old-TV-show watching includes the Bob Newhart show, Leave it to Beaver, and now the Brady Bunch. I love the old sit-coms. I try to sit and relax for 25 minutes every day and watch at least one episode of SOMETHING comical. It is a good stress reliever!!

Awwww, I'm sorry......keep looking in your area Barnes and Noble, he is on a tour right now promoting his book, so you might be fortunate enough to find him close somewhere. Lindsey says the book looks quite interesting.

I wanted to reply to you and say that is so cool that you got to see him. I love M*A*S*H as well. So, would it be safe for me to say that you liked him on the show better than Trapper? :basic01
