If you haven't served overseas in the U.S. Armed Forces, you may have at least heard some of us complain about Armed Forces Network (AFN) Commercials. Here's a few I've found on Youtube.

I've lost a few things during moves this way.
Moving Inventory (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PjlNQdKJf0)

The little girl in this one makes it my all time favorite.

And here's why we have AFN commercials (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbRhOTUPXZY)

I grew up to, "Its 10 O'clock, do you know where your children are?" I wonder how different AFN is from the old AFRTS?

About as painful, I think. AFN is better in that we get about 10 channels now, but the adds are about the same. Some of my favorites, which haven't made it to Youtube, are of soldiers telling us not to do some stupid thing or another. It's obvious by the context and quality of production, and the fact that a lot of us know the guy, that the star of the add did that stupid thing that he's now telling us not to do. Korea was real big on that.

I have actually seen the movie that this commercial used which is very confusing when you watch it.
