Nice, all I've got in is lettuce so far. But it's been a really cold spring here.
I've got some tomatoes ready to be transplanted very soon.

Yeah, but you have the awesomest composter ever! So far we have used lettuce, green onions, cilantro, and chives, but that's it. Everything looks great, though, and the roses and peonies are ready to pop. I just put in two roma plants this year. The past years I've been overrun with tomatoes, even though I freeze them/make sauce. Same with jalepenos...I didn't even plant any this year b/c I still about 40 frozen ones from last season, lol! I had terrible blossom-end rot last year on *every* sweet pepper and a lot of tomatoes, so I bought some organic treatment for it and will watch my water carefully. The last couple years I've done a soaker hose but it didn't work all that well. I really need a drip irrigation system but am hesitant to install it b/c of the cost (we're renting and will only be here one more season).

Currently I'm working on putting in a rain barrel from the gutters to water the garden, and yes, I do have the most awesome composter ever, it was a really great birthday present from my folks.
My parents wintered in Florida and brought four tomato plants with them. So while most of Wisconsin is getting ready to transplant our plants to the soil, I've got 4 with good fruit on them that's almost ready to turn red... yay!!!

Oooooh, fruit, that's cool. I posted an awesome composter on my facebook and my husband made fun of it! Bah! It was $500 or something, though, crazy. Bet it works well. My roma's had blossoms when I transplanted them but I forgot to look to see if they fell off or turned to fruit...

Well, I took your lead Meghan and got pictures of my "garden" up as well. We're way behind you and only plants with a really high frost tolerance can go in before Memorial Day.

Your tomatoes look chilly, but I think that's just b/c the pic preceeding them has snow in it. ;) Did you put compost from your composter in your garden bed? :)
