If you go to the members list and find your name, and no one has invited you to be their friend, it will say,
"Has not made any friends yet."
BOO HOO...that should send some of us to tears or to a psychiatrist.
LOL
It gave me a good chuckle to read that on someone's page.
Oh, thank you to the 5 friends that asked me to be their friend. Now I do not feel so lonely here.
LOL
Just joking around.

Don't even remember who my friends are [according to that page here on NN]. If I didn't ask you [don't know if I asked anyone, actually, but just responded to them, basically], "Hi, Friend." ;)

Barb. don't knock it to much. To have friends we must first be a friend. You and I have chatted in the past. I invited you to be my friend because there are some things I wanted to talk with you about. I like this new way of being able to chat. It can be public if anyone wants to read your conversations, but yet it is more personal than posting here on the forums.
I have invited people to be my friends and come and chat with me, but, I made the first move. Isn't that how friendships develop? I have a world of "general" friends, but there are people that I am much closer to because they respond to me and we begin a personal journey together.
I enjoy it much better than private e-mails. So to each his own. Friendships really take a lot of work. They don't all always work out, but we won't know until we try.

As I said, I was just being silly after looking up someone on the members list and seeing that new box.
Contact me anytime, Carolyn. I am glad that I am notified of someone's message when I open NazNet or I would miss a lot of the friends messages.
I was not knocking it. Just being silly.

I just realized that if I respond to anyone on the Friends thingie all tha persons friends or anyone at all can read what I write. So I have to be careful not to say anything I do not want anyone but the friend to read.
Email is more private for private answers. If a friend asks me something on the friends thingie and I feel my answer is private, I will email them.

Thanks for letting me know. I couldn't tell that you weren't being sarcastic.
You know I love people who can get silly. Somehow it helps me to loosen up and be silly too, and that is a lot of fun.
Guess, I'm just to seriious most of the time. I need a friend like you.
Yes, I understand about the privacy thing and I wouldn't post anything in the messages to the "friends" that I wouldn't post out here on the main board and forums.
The messages that I have sent and give or communicate with people who want me to are usually just things that I don't think warrant the public forums. They are of a more personal nature, but not private or gossipy! :)
Yes, I do have some private messages that I need to send to you in e-mail. I'm curious about some mutual friends of mine and yours in Missouri. It's been a long time since we have chatted.
I do love you, Barbara

God and the rest of us know what's there.:laughing
Go to:
http://www.naznet.com/community/member.php?u=222
About 1/3 of the way down the page, just below your name, you will see "Visitor Messages" "Statistics" and "Friends."
In fact, you have several visitor messages. LOL Better go read 'em.
Under "Friends" it says: " John Kennedy has not made any friends yet,"
Boo Hoo.
Jus tthought you'd like to know where the page is located. You can find it under your "User CP" under "Contacts & Friends."
Go for it!

Hey Dubya thanks for saying you would be my friend. Haven't had a chance to chat yet, but I bet we will eventually.

PS: Most of the people I invited to be my friend did accept. No one has invited me to be their friend yet. So, that's how it goes.
No one needs to be left out. That is no one that wants to play the game.

Hmmm... this conversation is helping me to understand the "friends" thingie a little better. It's starting to make more sense. I might actually invite some people to be my friends. :laughing

I'm going to eat some worms. Big fat slimy ones, little tiny grimy ones. I'm gonna eat some worms.
Well, maybe some BBQ, iced tea, 'slaw and Chunky Monkey ice cream. But THEN I'm going to eat some worms!
That'll show 'em.
