I just happened on a page that showed it is your birthday today. I guess I made it in the last remaining minutes of May 23 (Eastern US time zone).
Hope your day was happy!

Happy b-day, Mike. I know you've had a hard life, with Jarrod, Jonathan, and Huy as your students. :basic05

True.
But I didn't get gray hair until I became a pastor.

You are more forgetful than I imagined. You've been gray (at least partially) since I first met you. That was long before you became a pastor.
I'm with Amanda Marble who says that working with college students is what turned us all gray.
Aren't you glad for friends!

It's true that I am "conveniently" forgetful. But upon inspection of the visual evidence, I have found that my gray hair back in the mid to late 1990s was a dignified, salt and pepper, "wise beyond my years" gray. Now I have a "Sir, would you like the senior citizen's discount," "Excuse me sir, but what was the Great Depression like?", "Dad, they asked if you are my grandfather!" head of gray hair.
