I'm sure many of you have heard of the "Six-Word Memoirs" making the rounds. Originally a contest of the website
www.smithmag.net

So I am surprised that we haven't given this a try on Naznet. What six words would you use for your personal memoirs? Here are some examples from the competition:

* Preach the word; live the life
*Hey, I thought it was funny
*I still make coffee for two
*Not as stupid as I look
*Tragic accident, new start, more purposeful

What six words would you use? Feel free to submit more than one.

A lesion in his own life time
Not very good at writing memoirs
Spoke often, thought occasionally, silent rarely.
Living daily for God's transformational reality.

A play on words, "A lesion in his own time," or did you really mean, "A legend in his own time" ... ?? ;)

Hadn't heard of the 6-word memoirs, BTW ... thanks. We'll have to think about it. After all, when one has been accused more than once re writing "Pauline sentences" [length akin to the apostle Paul's run-on sentences, allegedly :p], it's hard ... nigh to impossible ... to cut it down to just six words!

I'll have to ponder this as well. I haven't figured out yet what to put down for my naznet bio...much less how to condense it into 6 words.

Narnia-bound; further up and further in.

(Correctly hyphenated words count as one word. :basic02 )

I'll leave that up to your imagination. One would hope humility and sense of humor would dictate which way you would go with that.

So I am surprised that we haven't given this a try on Naznet. What six words would you use for your personal memoirs? As I do understand this chapter, it is asked for helpfull speeches, helping to overcome difficulties.
Or is asked too for speeches of fatality, speeches, expressing hopeless feelings?

What six words would you use? Feel free to submit more than one.It is a good idea.
But - as a christian, in mind are first bible words - in most cases with more than six words.

One of the shortest bible words I do know,
"Seid allezeit fröhlich.
Rejoice evermore."

Saint Paul in 1st Thessalonians five, verse 16

Not six words? Sorry. :basic03

Once our pastor challenged us to write what we would like to have on our gravestone under our names so mine was:

He love God, by loving others.
