What do you consider you most useful photo accessory? Is it something you can't live without? Homemade? Custom designed?

I'm always looking for some gadget to make my life easier....

Well, I have a favorite toy that goes with my camera. It is an attachment that goes on my lens that enables me to shoot very, very close macros. I love the pictures that I'm able to take with it. Other than that, I really don't have any accessories other than a tripod.

Oh, and batteries. I like those. LOL

My polarizing filter. Nothing fancy, but I can't image outdoor photos without it.
