I'm out twelve hours night turm, going out soon. Police requested at least two chaplains be out, in the end there is just me. But Underground BTP want me to visit their officers, as well as me covering overground. That means me do some solo trips on underground, with Police writen all over me, with no weapon of defence, I wouldent weant one, should be fun! Also just received an a mail crying out for help from someone who is suicidal, I have had to tell them I'll reply in full tommorrow. I'm not out there yet and its all happening! Oh well, God will go with me, but if you can, say a little prayer for my well being and safety, and the safety of us all.

I just read that your subway (underground) is closed because of a strike as well?

No it wasnt. I coverd Piccadily Unergrowned, also Underground at Charing Cross. Overground at Charing Cross, Overground at Waterloo, and Overground at Clapham Junction. We survived, much to credit off excellent Senior officers. As far as I know, we had only one murder. I'm home now, sincere thanks, from all,off us, for your all your prayers.
I'm proud to be associted with such a wonderfull police service!:fav18

I just woke up at 3 pm I was shattered, must ge getting old ;)
We had 200,000 revelers in London last night, all in one small area. I worked without any break from 7 till 4am.
I'm dismayed with the Queens New Years honours list, all the medals again seem to go to folks who did nothing for their country. Only two BTP officers honoured. And a Salavation Army General who sat on his rear end got an award. As for the folks who worked the bombings, well Queen kinda forgot em!

That's sad, Ian ... but as you said in another thread ... sometimes folks have to wait for theirs.
But we do have to remember, hopefully, to affirm/reaffirm each other now & then ... we're all made to need a bit of that now & then. Hopefully that comes from folks at home ... if not, from church folks ... if not there, then perhaps naznetters, eh? ;)
