I have TWO men in my life

Tom is a loving husband to Shannon and a great Daddy to
the "little women" in our family. Consider yourself blessed should you have the chance to have him as a friend. God gave me another son when Tom and Shannon pledged "I Do"

Since I hang out in SD from time to time, I'm always intrigued with your pix in terms of telling the spot from which they're taken. Since the second one shows the Coronado bridge in the background and some of the others show tall towers with a marina in the foreground, I'm guessing the park next to Seaport Village.

Thanks to Google Earth, I think it was this spot in the foreground where the tree is.

I was there in 2006. My only trip to the US. :)
