Favourite Christmas gift?

Anyone have a favourite gift? Carl got me two budgies which was great. The girls gave me a Nativity set made in Bethlehem. (I collect Nativity sets).

i love canopes and had one in Kansas.

Part of the gift for Garry and i together was - a cranberry canopy for our bed.

I didn't get any one special Christmas gift, but...

My hubby got me some books, including the last Mitford book, some reflections by Bonhoeffer on the Psalms, and a For Better or For Worse cartoon book.

Some of my kids went together and bought me a cribbage board set. That was a real sacrifice on their part, because that's one of the few games I usually win!

The best gift? 41 people in church on Christmas morning.

I LOVE my gifts from Paul!!! Of course I DID pick one of them out!:basic05 I have wanted a PINK binder for my planner for a LONG time. Now I have one! My other gift is going to the Bavarian Inn tomorrow night. He did that all on his own:fav18

My favorite gift from John is a Thomas Kincade music box with a lighthouse on top. It is my favorite because it was a total surprise and he ordered it in October....all on his own. The other gifts were things I hinted about.

Having our son home from Iraq was the greatest gift for me.

But, you know what? Taking communion on Christmas Day was a special gift to me. I do not think communion ever affected me as much as it did that day. Taking communion with just the Christmas lights and tree lit and hearing Christmas carols playing brought the sacrifice of God and Christ into a clearer focus than ever before.

My favorite gift was a beautiful black and red plaid flannel night gown Mike got for me. I just love it. I can sit and read a book and curl up in it. It's so soft and warm too!!

My favorite gift was a diamond heart shaped necklace tht my Mother gave me. I had asked for a nice piece of jewelry that I would always know she gave to me.

The best gift was being off work and spending quiet quality time with my Mother.

and receive a call at work Christmas evening from a coworkers child thanking me for working for mommy so they could have Christmas togeather.
