The NazNet "friends" option that was included in release 3.7 is, according to vBulletin, the first step in adding several features to the software. For now, making someone a "friend" isn't all that impressive a capability.
However, there is one nice capability included in this feature: you can use it with the Private Messaging function to send a private message to all or some of those in your friends list.
Here's how:
Click on Quick Links
Click on Contacts Popup
Then, check off the friends you want to include in your personal message.
By the way, here's the difference between a "friend" and a "contact":
A friend is a person you have on your contact list who also has you on theirs. A contact is a person who is only on your list.
