Please pray

I have a bearing going out of my Santa Fe and the quote is more than my life's savings. Just prayer that my incentive rebate will bring it up to what I need. I haven't received it yet.

I mentioned this request at Board meeting on July 1 and my pastor said he knew of a mechanic where he went that might take care of the problem for less. So I took it there on the 2nd but he would not be able to get to it until the following week, so I took it back then and when he though he had taken care of the problem he called me to pick up my Santa Fe. But as I drove home the same squeak and squawk were still there so I took it back the following Monday and he worked on it some more. When I picked up again it still had the same problems so I sought advice from my pastor and he said he was having to take his car back for another round so I took mine back too. Finally I have my vehicle back after about a month for a lot less charge. It did not seem to be a bearing after all.

So, what was the problem, if it wasn't a bearing, after all?

Still don't know as I picked it up last Friday, drove home, took Esther to the church on Saturday to catch the van to a ladies day out at a member's home in the mountains, then made some sales calls today only to find out it is making the same noises that it did before I took it to, my pastor recommended, mechanic the first of the three times. Last thing the mechanic said when I picked it up Friday was, "If you have anymore trouble, give me a call." So I will.

Today we put it back in a shop for the fourth time.

Finally got it back and the problem, brake drum and shoes, was finally fixed at no labor charge after the mechanic said he should have detected it in the first place. Can I hear a "PTL" or an "Amen."
