My brothers and I and some of our children are doing the vespers service at Greencroft on Sunday evening, July 6th. I'm not sure what all is happening or how much opportunity there will be for NazNetworking, but my husband and daughters and I are making a weekend of it -- Topeka fireworks on Friday, ?? on Saturday, Shipshewana church Sunday morning.
Just thought someone might be interested. I think I remember either Goshen or Shipshe being suggested once as a potential setting for a NazNet meeting. The Greencroft service is open to the public.

Think Bob Hunt lives near there . My aunt used to live in Elkhart years ago so we drove through and stopped at Goshen various times . Have a great visit. You might like to try the Mennhof museum ( sort of ) in Shipsewana . Neat hands on experience of Mennonite, Amish and Hutterite traditions . And , of course the Amish restaurant in Middlebury is great . ( Das Dutchman Essenhaus -eating family style was great )

we are about 2 or 2 and a half hrs away...Shipse is an awesome place to get away...for the women to shop til they drop and for us men to sit and wait on em...or eat those scrumptous Amish meals. Our singer friends were there a couple weeks ago, Phil and Kim Collingsworth...you can see them online at PhilandKim.com

Ever heard an elderly person say, "Land of Goshen!"
LOL
I have, years ago.
And I have been near Goshen in years gone by. We used to drive close to it when traveling to see family for holidays and vacations when we pastored in Illinois.

Well, y'all missed it. We filled in the "??" on Saturday with a trip to Warren Dunes State Park in Michigan with our two daughters and a boyfriend and then had dinner with our son. No pix of him, but here's one of my brothers, mother, and I. The Pruitt brothers are youngest to oldest left to right -- Steve, John, Ron, Dan. I think they have all stopped by NazNet sometime over the years.
I'll also attach a picture of me in training in Michigan for our SS camping trip this past weekend. See how far our car is down there? That's where I started. These "young adult" SS outings take a lot of preconditioning.

So close, and yet so far away. It would have been fun to be able to get down to meet all of you. I've met Steve and Ron and at least tried to find your moms home, but it would have been great to meet the whole family.
