We're embarking on a week away this afternoon, visiting various relatives around New England. I'm sure I'll gravitate to an internet connection on occasion, but I just wanted to let you all know in case my overbearing presence is missed.

The title of your post, what language is that. I don't believe I am acquainted with it.

My experience is that visiting relatives is no vacation.

Let's see, Ryan gets elected czar of NTS student government, and the first thing he does is take a vacation.
That boy is going places!

Hey... are you gonna make it up to Maine?

If I was Pettigrew, I'd keep a weather eye on the boy. That GS slot may not be all that much of a sure thing.

I think we ALL have relatives like that.

There is a Dutch saying that goes something like:
Visitors always bring joy, I believe.
If it isn't when they come, it's when they leave.

Hans -
That's kind of like the line about the two happiest days in a boat owner's life: the day he buys it and the day he sells it.

Yeah. I didn't know that saying though.

For sure! But then there are some who are fun, too ... someday maybe I'll get a couple of beach pics scanned in here ... those sand dunes are fun! :basic05

You can't go. All the plants will die!

Things are going well. We enjoyed a couple nice days in Vermont and are currently enjoying a few nice days on the Cape. And no, Jon, we're not going to make it to Maine - we tend to avoid it like the plague (although you live in Southern Maine, so it's only half true for you).

We've got some great stuff to see up here... remember that the most photographed lighthouse in the world is in my backyard! (In fact, I'm performing a wedding there on Saturday.)
Glad you're having a good vacation!
