Last Thursday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon we had horrible rain, lightning and thunder storms. The power was off and on, but never went out and stayed out. During the first storm, lightning hit a tree in our back yard, burned the bark off, took out a bug zapper light and yard light, AND hit a car that was parked near the tree, and it fried the computer system in the car...$400 to repair. This was not our car but it belongs to a pastor friend of ours. Some in our area were without power for over 13 hours. The modem on my computer got hit when the power kept going off and on.
We will be without a computer for while now. :-(
