That hymn has been in my mind all day and I just had to read it tonight!

Who is the "Joy of heaven to earth come down?" it is the Lord Jesus!
What kind of love does He have? "Pure unbounded"
What are we to find? "Let us find that second rest." I believe with all my heart it is the experience of sanctification or Holiness.
What will that do for us? "Take away our bent to sinning."
What results will this experience bring? "Pure and spotless let us be"

This song has so much depth and breadth, and is a complete sermon.

It even tells us who Jesus is "Alpha and Omega be"
"Breath o breathe Thy Loving Spirit"
"Come Almighty to deliver"
He changes is "from glory to glory" or makes us more and more like Him!

And....His is a "perfect love" as opposed to shallow, insincere, false, pretending, fake, divided love.
