Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

Since this site is a waste-of-time but fun - and most of your friends have never heard of word clouds - you'll probably spend hours here wasting time and sending worthless, but cute, word clouds to your friends. I'm sure they'll be as amazed as you are right now, just itching to go make their own. Are we promoting something that will waste your time? Of course! We all need a break from our busy lives.
