This has been a joyous day. God manifested His presence this morning and many were deeply moved as He ministered to hearts there.
Then this afternoon we cancelled the prayer class for today so that we could conduct a baptism service. We met at one of our people's homes where they have a swimming pool. The weather could not have been better for this outdoor service. I baptized 7 recent converts. What a joy as a pastor this is. To hear their testimonies of saving grace, to listen to them as they tell what Jesus means to them---why, it does not get better than that. We asked the 7 what their favorite song was and we sang those, had a nice time of prayer---prayer is becoming more and more a strong characteristic in my people---and then to baptize them. We finished with a carryin simple meal together. One family of three were part of those who were baptized.
Just a great day that God used to encourage this pastor's heart.
