I had to read this book for a recent class and I'm incredibly glad I had the opportunity. Jenkins takes a look at current trends in population and religious growth in the world and puts the future of Christianity into a more global perspective.
He uses numbers at times, but always couches them with the caveat that numbers are always subject to change. The trends, however, are very important.
I gave a presentation on this book for class and rather than repeat some of the highlights, I thought I would just post a copy of the outline here and maybe spark some discussion.
I think anyone planning on being alive and socially active in the future should take a look at this book and begin to think about some of these coming realities.
