The mission of the Christian Classics Ethereal Library, http://www.ccel.org/, “… is to build up the church by making classic Christian writings available and promoting their use”. CCEL holdings are available online (either free or for small charge, and donations are requested) of writers from the first century onward, from John Abelard through John Young (no “Z” authors yet); many of John Wesley’s writings are included.
Several searchable file formats are supported. The files can be downloaded for further study, and can be printed when its time to “curl up with a good book”. I’ve found this a reasonable way to readily access often-obscure primary documents (such as are introduced in Discipleship Journal) for myself at minimal cost.
