Myrtle, are you are speaking of tacos, the Mexican type sandwich?

I Must Be .. The Package Wrote It Toco, But Maybe Taco Is Their Mistake. I Need A Receipe That One Can Add Their Own Hot Sauce.

Perhaps Tocos is a brand name.
This is not exactly a recipe per se but is how good tacos can be made. For the finished product to be really tasty, one should have good ingredients.
Good cooked ground meat with excellent seasonings. I use 95% lean meat and season it with sea salt, chili powder, cumin, dash of tobasco, etc. Seasonings may vary from time to time, but the above are basic.
Chopped tomatoes (ones with good flavor)
Chopped green leaf lettuce
Chopped black olives
Chopped fresh jalapeno peppers (finely diced)
Good guacamole
Sour cream
Cooked beans (I prefer the small black beans but others are good too when mashed)
Grated cheese (cheddar, monterrey jack, or colby, etc. The better quality of cheese, the better the taco)
Good hot sauce
Crisp tortillas (freshness is a must for good taste)Just obtaining good quality ingredients and seasoning the meat well are necessary for good tacos. Assembly can vary but most people prefer to put the meat in the tortilla shells first, then add lettuce, jalapenos, and tomatoes next, and end with the sour cream and cheese on top. The olives are optional with many preferring them. Some add the guacamole while others use it as a dip with corn chips. Some extra hot sauce can be added also.
Hope this helps!

... those "chopped fresh jalapeno peppers" ... well, depends on how hot you want your tacos how many seeds you want to leave in these peppers when you're chopping them up. That's where the majority of the "heat" is found, so you might want to dispose of a lot of them, rather than chopping them up with all the seeds still in them [they're a bit different than the regular bell pepper, where it seems we just naturally clear out all of the seeds before eating any of it].

With All Of My Reading Of Einstein I Would Never Have Thought Of Anything Bibical, Especially The New Testament. But That Really Does Take Another Thought.
You Are Right, I Had Forgotten The Seeds Are The Hot Part.
It Becomes Rather Fretful To Find Something To Make That Will Tast Good. We Are Elderly, Very:):) And Our Taste Seems To Have Changed More Than One Realized.
Maybe At Our Age We Should Be Thinking Of Oatmeal. Thank You Very Much For Your Reply
