I have a new disturbing problem occurring. It started happening last night. I use Firefox as my browser. Usually when I am going back and forth between post and index, I have used the Back button. Well, starting sometime around 10 last night, when I hit the back button, the browser crashes. I don't know why this is happening. It does not seem to happen every time, but is very annoying when it does.

Has anyone else had this happen? This has happened on two different computers for me, so I do not believe it is the computer.

Thanks,
Gregory L. Edwards

No problem here, using Firefox 1.0.7

Netscape has crashed for me several times in the way you describe. I need to quit using the back button anyway. I used it a lot in the old forum, going back and forth between editing a post and previewing it. Now that I'm using Blogspot, I keep falling into that habitual pattern -- after previewing a new blog entry I hit the back button in order to edit it some more. Not a good idea. All my carefully arranged 1's and 0's are dumped back into the bucket and when I hit the forward button I am faced with a blank slate. Gone forever, all my precious thoughts, all the hours I put into composing them. All gone!

"MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, nooooo"

In other words, the solution is to put a piece of tape over the back button.

Oh, but that's not what you asked, is it? I'm sorry, the grief just overwhelmed me at the very thought of it.

The answer is, Yes, I've had that happen to me too.

Correction: It's the computer demons. When I first tried to edit this post so y'all would have to cringe at one less grammar error, Netscape crashed. You know it's the demons when that happens. :fav13
