It has been some time since I posted to Naznet. My wife, who is quite the cook, has been blogging recently and posting lots of what I would consider to be excellent recipes. If you are interested, head over to dinahs-dishes.com (http://dinahs-dishes.com/).

Looks yummy -- and the first ad that I saw was a coupon for Tucson's Best restaurants!!! (My home).

You should talk to her about preparing more LOW FAT recipes, as well -- lots of people going that route these days!! (me included! -- less than 30 grams of fat per day).

Actually she has several recipes that can be converted into low-fat recipes quite easily -- the Southwestern Chicken wraps -- I think we'll have those tomorrow, actually!!! I'll use the low-carb wraps and low-fat sour cream to substitute, but the rest of the ingredients look very yummy!! Thanks!! You just solved the dilemma for what to have at dinner tomorrow night!!! ha ha -- I'll let you know how it turns out!!

Thanks -- and Welcome back to NazNet!!

I'll pass the suggestion along. She does generally lighten recipes and cooks quite a bit from cooking light. If you are looking for low sugar and low fat, don't read her blog tomorrow. Tomorrow's recipe is amazing, but definitely a treat. I know it won't fit on that diet.

We try to limit our fat intake by choosing lean meats and eating a fair amount of fish and vegetarian meals. Like you we generally use light sour cream and things like that (though both of us are sort of addicted to real half and half in our coffee). We also try to avoid processed foods whenever possible. At any rate, we are just a month or so into the blogging thing and definitely appreciate any feedback.

*insert shameless plug here* For those of you who don't know Jeff and Dinah - she is an AMAZING cook! Ryan and I had the pleasure of not only being their friends, but also living down the street from them in Kansas. We tasted a couple of Dinah's Dishes and think she's the best! ;o )

Aha! Dana, I just learned something going to this link ... must be somehow set up [whoever does those coupon deals] to lurk on our computer to find out our location. You said you saw something about Tucson restaurants. Well, we're in Wyoming, just south of Grand Rapids [some places still insist on calling us "Grand Rapids" on junk mail (since mail was addresses to GR long ago before Wyoming had its own PO), tho' we've had our own post office for about 50 years.

AND what we saw right away in the upper RH corner was an ad re Grand Rapids places! ;)

Anyway, I have to go look at that chocolate recipe I saw there, too!

Thanks for the link, Jeff, and thanks to Katelynn for verifying its goodness. ;)

Edited to add that, when I saw the white chili recipe (having seen several versions), it sounds like one of the best I've seen. Have made it long ago, by taste, but think I'll try this one soon! Yum! Thanks again. ;)

Jeff,
Thanks for this. I am going to try the white chili, and look forward to others.

Thanks for the positive response. Btw, the adverts that you see are from Google so they can make them specific to where you are and the content on the page. We have to pay the bills somehow!
