I really like the Red2Black skin--much more than any of the others. However, there are a few posts very difficult to read. I am assuming that the post-er is using a font color that does not show well against the black background.

Is there a solution to this? Maybe I could change a setting that would convert those posts to a more readable color?

Michael, It looks like I am one of the guilty ones.
I did not realize it until I changed to the black skin and tried to read my posts, which all are in black type.
I'm changing that on this one as an experiment to see if an "orangy" color will show up when using various skins.
Those purples also are very difficult to read when using the black skin.

In the Control Panel under "options,", "Default Post Color," it says: "Remember that people use different forum views, pick a color that can be seen on a Default Post Font Color:"

That "orange" color did not work very well for the default skin, so I'm gonna change my default to something else and see what happens.

Hi, Cecil. I wasn't suggesting that everyone should accommodate me. It probably would be best if I would change my skin. Your orangy color is very easy to read, by the way. Have a good day.
Michael

Since it isn't many posts that are hard to read, when you do want to read one, just use the mouse and button to "highlight" it, as though you wanted to copy it. When you are finished just click anywhere on the screeen to continue.

How's that for a work-around?

... the very light orangey-gold one that didn't show up well at all on light grey. Highlighting makes such things read well. ;)

Scott, that does work. I will keep that in mind. I don't guess you would be interested in issuing a decree that all font colors must be easily read by me? I didn't think so. Seriously, the highlighting thing will work just fine for me.

BTW, I "received" a letter from your treasurer today. Thanks.

Sure -- with all my power and authority I hereby issue the said decree.

How's that? All fine now I am sure!

(Glad to know our treasurer is on the job -- she's very capable and diligent as you can see).

What happened to the red2black skin theme? I used to use it and when I came back after a long break late last fall, I got the default. Since then I've just assumed I was somehow switched back to the default. When I went to switch back today it was gone. Am I the only one?

It's still there -- I just went to the bottom of the page and switched to it. It's working okay for me.

I just checked again. It is not available to me. Attached is a screen shot of what options I have. It's not a huge deal to me, but I wonder why it would be different.

Try it now - sometimes I see things as Administrator that others aren't seeing. I think it is enabled for you now.

Yes! That's the Naznet I remember. Thanks. If anyone else cares what we're talking about, the attached picture below shows what Naznet looks like for me (or if you wanted, you) with this skin.
