"not a valid win32 application" ... ??

This is the message that popped up when I tried to open the downloaded "google earth" that took "forever" to download.

What's going on? Any ideas?

[edit: 'Might just ignore that message if it would have let me install it, anyway, but it did not.]

'Looks like everyone "nevermind-ed," anyway, since there were no answers as to what to do with something that says this.

You see, it's not the first time something has told me it's "not a valid win32 application." Not sure what's going on when this happens. :eek:
