Tyler & I took a walk the other day and came upon this tree...is this ODD or what? Looks like it is growing upside down, or a storm blew this tree on top of another, or SOMETHING.....Interesting, to say the least......
So before we left on Sunday, I just had to run back over there and take a few pictures of it!!

We had a LOT of trees that looked like that after Hurricane Ike came through Ohio recently. Did you have a wind storm there lately?

Knowing that you are becoming a photography "pro," I am sorta suspecting that you have done some tricky stuff with the pic. :laughing
I really can't tell much about the tree. It almost looks like it broke off and fell "upside down" on itself.
Thanks for sharing this unusual photo.

Seriously, Cecil, I did not do anything to the picture -- I don't know how to do tricks yet!! LOL
Anyway, I'll bet you are exactly right....there was a big storm a couple of months ago in Phoenix, and I'll bet that tree broke down on itself.....I'm going to have Tyler go back to investigate that possibility!! It's just that it doesn't LOOK like that on initial inspection of it. It doesn't look like the top trunk is split at all, looks intact from down on the ground, at least.
Interesting.....

From what I can see, and that is really saying something without glasses, the leaves are growing at the proper angle. Not upside down as one would assume if it broke on itself. I propose that the top either broke off or was cut off when it was viewed as a safety risk. But, just my observation.
