Our bank cards have vanished.
This means out overdraft is past its limit.
This means we have absolutly NO money of any sort.
Bank is a long way from agreeing to repay money taken by fraud in the summer.
So dear friends, we honestly have absolutly No money for bills and food, these are the simple honest facts.
Most of you know how horrific things keep mounting onto us over this last year. Please dont say, "God is trying you!" or "God is making you strong!", because that is simple escapism.
May God continue to bless you all, may He protect you from going through the things we have gone through, and knowing the pain that we have known, and know!

Ian,
I just do not know what to say. All I can do is pray and ask God to supply your needs somehow, someway.
I do not understand how all this has happened to you, or why.
Hold on to God.

Its so hard to hold on! Where is His help? We arent dishonest, took on the hard ministries, and we are desolate and broke, doesent make any sense to me!

Ian, I pray your family will come through all this OK.
Don't understand at all ... nor about your cards; are they missing, or you tried to use one, and found it's been cancelled for whatever reason?? Your answer to Barbara didn't quite make this clear. However, if you've no $$$ either way, guess details don't matter, huh?
{{{ hugs }}} to you and Christine at this very hard time ....

No, details dont matter, after all its our pain, and we often isolate ourselfs in that others havent a clue what it truely feels like.
I have been , most often positive, but one subject has always been a big thing for me, why are poor folks in ministry, left to own finacial devices in problems, as we cant afford good lawers, and to be honest, though Im work with them, police are uselessly incapable when it comes to poor folks problems. Only the rich have decent access to law, however bad that sounds, its the truth!

Uh, not sure, but that "after all its our pain" sort of sounded like I meant "details don't matter," because it's you folks & not us. Easy to misunderstand things like that when hurting, I know. However, I meant our praying doesn't require the "details" ... and our knowing "details" won't necessarily fix it for you ... not that we don't really care to know the "details," OK? ;)
And, yes, sometimes it has seemed all too true that $$$ can in certain instances influence the "justice" that is meted out. However, we pray that somehow ... someone ... somewhere ... can/will help you with this "mess," Ian.

Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction ... but no one, I don't think, has suggested your situation is unbelievable. In fact, it sort of reminds me of this couple I knew in Phoenix, who moved back to California whence they came, and are having some strange things happen there ... she calls now & then, so I still hear of these things. Life can be very strange ... sometimes.
