All sorts of expectation about tomorrow. I hope...do I hope Harper will win a majority (it's a almost a given that he will win a minority)

We should know by 11:00 pm at the latest. Polls close here at 9:30 pm EST, in BC at 7:30 pm PST. They stagger poll openings and closings across Canada to accomodate the time zones and ensure that polls close at the same time. WIth internet and satellite television, the old days of simply blocking coverage until the polls in your area closed are gone.

I have to be at my poll to work at 8:30 am so this will be my last check in.

I just read an interesting column from an Ottowa columnist who makes a very practical case for voting Conservative. In fact it's good advice for any ideologue, left or right, who is tempted not to vote at all because no candidate perfectly represents his views.
