Naznet has had various forums: Wesley, Bressee, Current Affairs, Naznet Community, Theology, etc. There was talk for awhile about possibly having a Sports Forum. It appears clear, however, that more Naznetters, have more to say about "Nothing" than any other single subject.
I am therefore proposing a forum that will be devoted to nothing. Yes, all nothing all the time. Of course it needs a name - nothing is a possibility, though a bit obvious. I had though of suggesting the 'vacuum' forum, but some would seek to use it to debate the respective merits of Hoover, Bissell, Electrolux, and Kirby, etc. while others would seek to avoid it because of fear of nature's reaction (we all know how nature feels about a vacuum).
But, name it we must. Soooo - why not call it the "NADA" forum. I must hasten to make it clear that NADA is not short for National Automobile Dealers Association or Nazarenes Against Divorced Aboriginees or Nazarene Association of Divorced Aboriginees (don't really know if there are enough of the latter to have their own association or not). No, NADA, to our friends south of the border, simply means ZIP. And, even though Naznet is NOT an official denominational entity, it might be one small step toward the internationalization of the denomination and, at least, be evidence of bilinguality (if there is such a word).
After all that, is there anything else left to say. Nada.
