I have Windows 7 DVD burner on this computer but would like more features. . . such as I'd like to be able to "float" the text onto the picture.

(If that makes sense to anyone but me seek professional counseling immediately.)

I can make - and have made - words/text POP - suddenly appear - onto a slide/picture but I'd like to do some fancy stuff with the text.

Got any suggestions?

I am not sure what the DVD burner has to do with the effect you are wanting. Are you saying that you want to float the text in on a picture in a slideshow?
