I have moved to a new web host and now have a dynamic home page that I have written in C# and ASP.NET. I am not necessarily bragging about my user interface design, but I am trying out data manipulation, post backs, and such. I invite you all to try out the page, the updated wallpaper page, etc. and let me know what you think.

Hey Steve, I checked out your page when you first posted it, but never got around to responding here. Your .asp programming is pretty neat -- it makes for an interesting, interactive page. Very good.
I have just completed a full rewrite of www.kjic.org (http://www.kjic.org) webpages. I have most everything there working with css, including the challenging three column without tables front page.
I have been writing code by hand for a long time, and continue to do it with css, but I admit that I am not ashamed to borrow someone else's pre-written css files to achieve things I don't know how to do!
Anyway, just thought I would let you know that I did look at your site when you posted this, and looked again today.

I like the your updated page. I have to admit I've been more focused on the .NET code behind than the quality of the user interface. The .NET inteface will generate some styles on its own, but I also know it can handle CSS. I'll probably work with that more as I now turn my attention to AJAX for the user interface. Have you looked much at using AJAX?

"Have you looked much at using AJAX?"
Steve, I've not used AJAX in years ... and years; it's rather rough. :basic05
Sorry, just couldn't resist when you post some apparent computer term that's synonymous with an ancient cleanser. ;)
