Here is another picture. I went to visit relatives in San Diego from June 29 to July 6. I haven't posted hardly any pictures because I took to many and I haven't had time to reduce them enough to post them. My Uncle lives on Palomar Mountain near San Diego. This is a view from his house. He apologized because it was so hazy. I thought it was beautiful. It sure beats the miles and miles of corn and beans that I see every day.

This is my Uncle, Howard Merrill. He is a really neat guy. I've only met him a few times in my life but I'm sure going to miss him when he's gone.

This is his house. He built it himself.

They took me to a San Diego Padres game while I was there. We were way out in right field and on the second level of the stadium. I got to try out my 300mm zoom lens.

I also took a tour of the USS Midway with my cousin's son Garrett.

My Uncle was in a very bad naval battle in WW2. He doesn't talk about it much. This is a memorial to that battle. That is the USS Midway in the background.

I took way too many pictures of the San Diego area to post. I loved it there. This is down town San Diego from the Midway.

Viewing these pictures are just as easy on this forum as on the Caleigh software. So, I think I like this better, because it seems to be easier to not lose everything that seems to just be thrown together or lost when people post lots of pictures.

Pictures will probably stay here longer on this board and they can be seen in one long thread just like on the old NazNet.

Your pictures are really good. I enjoy getting to see them.

I'll use this software if we switch to it. I won't get mad and leave. I just like the other better.

Hi,

I like the way all the pictures open at once, than having to open a post, then click digest. Then it only takes one back click to get to the index.

Great pictures BTW. I like the skyline one the best.
