a few months ago I looked for a special report about the 26th december 2004 tsunami and as a side product, I found this photo and showed it on NazNet as the most impressive photo I have ever seen about the tsunami.
I was teached, it were a hoax.
"How the photographer could save the camera?"
Another one cut and stretched faces, teached me, they were laughing, not shouting or crying.
I answered, I were not interested in the question it were a hoax or not - because it could be realistic, seen byside 400.000 victims.

now we could find out, it was a hoax or not
I can not control, Jesus left his grave (except I trust him and learn to live with him). I should be wise to say nothing as long I have no proof it was not so.

It's a real picture but not of last year's tsunami. Instead, it shows a huge wave that resulted from a tidal surge in the Qiantangjiang River in China. The photo dates back to September 2002.

Explanation from that website. This is a two-year-old Reuters photo of a tsunami in China. You might remember the event: a bunch of people went to watch the waves and it turned out to be bigger than they thought. Anyway, the doctor gave the photo to the mayor of Calgary--he'd saved it for fundraising purposes. The Mayor showed it during a presentation on tsunami aid and the herald asked if they could have it thinking it was from this tsunami.

Good way of putting it. I do believe though that when the paper printed it, they believed it was real.

Yes - after the story you told, I thought the same. As hard as the background will be - so funny will sound the photo story, it made me smile.
