Judy, you are being recognized for a service that most do not understand because they did not expereince the conditions under which you performed your tasks in Nam. For many of us who were on the receiving end our the ministering hands of Nam nurses; we who received the gentle words and and even saw tears of care in the eyes of many of the nurses as they cared for us as we tried to recover from those wounds; we see Nam nurses as heros and you certainly are a wonderful representative of those angels in green and sometimes white. No one but God knows the number of men you saved either physically or emotionally as we can in shattered in body and often in mind.
Judy, you are so deserving and I am so glad you hare being honored today. God's richest blessings on you dear friend.

Congratulations, Judy! It's good to see that the service you gave to your country is recognized and appreciated! Though I agree with William, it's probably the soldiers you took care of that will always appreciate it the most.

Judy,
Just wanted to add my congratulations to the others. I know that I cannot really imagine what it was like for you, but I am glad you are receiving this honor.
Some day I should tell you about all that happened when Margaret Bromley and I were awarded the Papua New Guinea Independence medal in honor of our years of service in PNG. The presentation was something else!:fav16

Thank God that He gave you the strength and courage to serve with excellence under the most trying of circumstances. Since I was drafted but rejected in October of 1960 I have and will always hold in the highest regard those who were able to serve so ably for the cause of freedom. Thank you, dear angel of mercy, for those who cannot thank you. Your award and honor celebration are obviously long overdue. CONGRATULATIONS!
