Those of us in education cherish the memories of students who have been 'our favorites'. We watch them as they enter 'real' life with much interest.

My sister-in-law, Dr. Judy Payne Muse, was vocal about those who she was most proud of. Judy taught at SNU and then CSU. She was a wonderful Christian lady. Her death was pre-mature. The family still has scars from her sickness and death.

David McClung's name was on her lips whenever she talked of those who had been her favorites.

Thought David might lke to hear this.

I'm not a professor but I have fond memories of many of my professors at BNC (now SNU). I remember Prof. Paul Shelton of Old Testament fame. He was the cutest little man and I loved when he would get tickled at his own jokes! It was hard having History of O.T. at 7:30 a.m. but he was a delight!

Dr. Judd, my biology professor, made a lasting impression on me when he took time out of his busy schedule to attend my Senior Piano Recital.

My piano professor, Dr. John Rosfeld, will always hold a special place in my heart. He was also so kind and patient with me and was always willing to listen to my problems!

I thank God for Christian Colleges and Universities and those who give their lives to educate, nurture and love!

Judy was one of my favorite teachers too. I was in several of her upper division accounting classes. Several in those classes went on to accounting careers. Two that come to mind are Bob Williams and Bob Stafford.

Bob Williams is a NazNetter. Bob Stafford came back to teach accounting at SNU. Unfortunately, he died young.

I didn't go on to an accounting career, but I have used what Judy taught me throughout my career.
