So they fell short this year. They're losing almost all of their starters for next season and moving to a conference that's becoming increasingly irrelevant by the day.
Do you think Coach Peterson more seriously considers offers from big-name schools this year?

He addressed that issue in Monday's news conference saying that he had had feelers from various sources but none of them come close to beating how he feels about his position and potential here in Boise. He could stay here as long as Joepa has stayed at Penn State from the way he seems to communicate and the city and the state appreciate how he has put them both on the map. Actually Boise has become more attractive to retirees and younger career people just because of how the Broncos have been doing, only 5 losses in his 5 years which is better than any other collegiate coach in the nation.

I think it will also depend on which positions come open in January. If a big, big schools comes after him, now might be the time to go. I suspect he's at the peak of his reputation.

I don't follow BSU enough to really have an opinion, but this ESPN article (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=forde_pat&id=5774990) by Pat Forde makes me think that Peterson will stay in Boise.
