Ever heard of him?

Former Principal of the Nazarene Theological College, in Didsbury, Manchester, England. He is a graduate of the Universities of London and Leeds and teaches Historical Theology and Wesley Studies. He is the author of "Sufficient Saving Grace", a study of the thinking of John Wesley, based on PhD research at Keele University.

I had the WONDERFUL privilege of picking him up at OHare early this a.m. and bringing him to campus for a few days.

What a powerful, dynamic man of God.

And I'm scheduled to take him back to O'Hare on Sat.

Now THAT is called the Second Blessing!

Oh yes! He's a Wesley expert. Never met him, but I've heard of him and read some stuff he has written.

And, eh, Nelson, him being a Wesley expert, I would not start to defend your theology about second blessing :basic05

Yes I had the privilege of meeting Herbert when he came to my Church in Lawrenceburg, Tn. and gave 2 night presentation on the life of Wesley.
Had a chance to talk with him at the 1991 Gen. assmb. He never forgets anyone he has met.
You have made a good friend, enjoy him.
