I am working on a page that will provide a roundup of Nazarene related blogs. I wonder if any of you bloggers might be willing to be test subjects for the sign up proceedure?
I need people who can really follow the instructions, so I will know if I have missed any steps. If you are interested, go to the page, and follow the instructions.

Does this mean that I would have to actually write something? I set up my blog several weeks ago, but have barely taken the time to post on it.

'Sounds like something I did a few months ago; sort of forget to even stop by there ... have to go check it and see how it's doing without me. ha! ;)

How exactly do you define "Nazarene related", Scott? Following instructions is in my skill set and I'm willing to add my blog but it's not overtly spiritual and I'm hesitant to label it as such by adding additional links to church-related sites (beyond the NazNet link that's there already).

Marsha, you are a Nazarene, that is good enough for me. However, judging from the underwheming response, I doubt that the project is going to take off. I will leave it up to you as to whether or not to make the effort.

What about those who just sporadically post to their blogsite, eh? ;)

Well, it seems that my instructions are good and that Marsha did a good job of following, as her blog is now listed on Nazarene Blog Roundup -- other Nazarene bloggers are welcome: http://nazblogs.blogspot.com/ (http://nazblogs.blogspot.com/)

There's just one tiny problem. I now can't access my own blog. I get 403 errors. I managed to sneak in a back way and compose a post but it won't publish. I can access your site, Scott, and my daughter's. It's not a general Blogspot problem.
So I'm on your blog roundup. I just can't post any more. It's an interesting tradeoff. At least you can be sure I won't monopolize the place as long as this condition persists.
I'll start my troubleshooting by giving it some time. That's often a good approach to these types of things. (People who speak poorly of procrastination have obviously overlooked the benefits.)

Edit: 1:45 EST and all is well. Procrastination proves effective once again (at least from my point of view). I'm once again in the running for newest entry to Scott's blog roundup.

Basically this is a bump of the thread in an attempt to get the attention of some of the other NazNet group who blog - inviting them to join the Nazarene Blog Roundup (http://nazblogs.blogspot.com/).
You don't have to be all that active to be listed on the roundup (http://nazblogs.blogspot.com/) -- after all, once it is set up, the page automatically updates when and if you do a post. It doesn't do any harm for it to sit there for a few weeks at a time!
Meanwhile, I have started a second blog. When I started blogging, I wandered in the wilderness for awhile, lacking a set purpose. Finally, I settled on writing devotional entries based on Peterson's "The Message." It is a good discipline for me and I enjoy doing it.
However, once in awhile I want to write about other stuff, from more serious entries to just plain fun. So, I created a second blog, named, originally, Pastor Scott's Other Blog (http://pastorscott2.blogspot.com/) - so, even if you aren't interested in the Nazarene Blog Roundup (http://nazblogs.blogspot.com/), check out my "other blog (http://pastorscott2.blogspot.com/)!"

I have decided to try to post once a week instead of 3 times in a week and waiting a year ;)
Thanks.

... if I messed up my page, or if Firefox sees things differently sometimes than MSIE, and my page would look OK on the MSIE. Tho't when I did it, there were some OK tho'ts to be read, but graphics were messy ... again, was it the browser or on the page itself. Hmmmmm ....
Will have to go find it again; got discouraged seeing it look messed up, so haven't been there in awhile.
What about those who just sporadically post to their blogsite, eh? ;)

I am discontinuing the Nazarene Blog Roundup. There hasn't been much interest and setting up has become more time consuming due to some changes with Blogger or Feedburner. Anyway, I am going to keep my roll of blogs at http://pastorscott.blogspot.com/ more up to date instead.
