Those of us who also use a Mac are now aware that OSX 10.6.6 was released, which also installs the Mac App Store link on our dock. I went ahead and finally upgraded my iphoto 08 to iphoto 11. They have pulled apart the ilife set so you can just purchase the ilife app you want. Iwork apps are also available separately if you don't want the whole set. The iphoto 11 app downloaded and installed as advertised. One good thing is the "update available" of existing apps will be a feature just like on the ipad. So we can be notified and install updates for our installed apps as they become available.
