Went to this on Saturday for a children's birthday party. Saw it in 3D. The feeling of my statements about 3D in the Tangled thread were tempered by watching this one. I thought that 3D was a distraction and added little-to-nothing to this movie, although the placement of my seat may have been part of the problem.
This is definitely a kids movie. The genius of Disney and their movies is that adults can sit and enjoy the plot line, jokes, and characters of Disney movies. They are great at that. But Yogi Bear didn't do that. I laughed a couple of times, but I actually fell asleep for a bit about 2/3 of the way through. I've also never been a real fan of real-life/cartoon combined movies (Pete's Dragon, Roger Rabbit, etc.).
Kids will laugh and enjoy it (especially 5-10 year olds), but it's no classic.
