I have not read this, but I have heard it is an excellent book.
Has anyone else read this book and wish to comment?

Yes, I read Reversed Thunder several years ago when I preached a series on Revelations, Peterson is deep and he requires much thought and reflection before you can preach from the material. Nothing wrong with hard work. I also used Wm. Barclay and he was also helpful.

Welcome, Philip, to Naznet!

I presume that you are Philip, brother of Stephen and Christiana. If so, your entire family has been such a great blessing to many across the years. Your mother's hands were some of the most beautiful that ever were because they were the hands of a saint. Her praying and working hands are in the memory bank of my heart and mind. Your parent's lives were extraordinary and they produced quite a godly legacy.

Blessings,

At my bedsie is a small copyof the praying hands carving each one of us kids got one after Mom's passing, it is a reminder of her life of prayer and influence. So your comments reminded me of her life of prayer as well.
