Eggo Waffle Stuffing

I heard on the news today that a lady won the Pillsbury Bake Off with a stuffing recipe using Eggo Waffles. She did not have enough bread to make stuffing for a chicken so toasted Eggo Waffles, broke them into pieces and make her stuffing. She submitted the recipe to the contest and won. She says it is her families favorite stuffing.

Well, now, I need to see that recipe and try it....if someone else will make it. Eggo Waffles are more expensive than a loaf of bread.

no kidding!!

the woman was on the Today Show this morning, and i read the recipe yesterday... my immediate reaction was "YUCK" ... *waffles* with chicken/stuffing/spinach??

BUT... the hosts of the Today Show seemed to like it, and as one host pointed out, perhaps his son would eat spinach, "look! it's waffles!" :D

but i don't think this is a recipe i'll be trying any time soon. ;)
