My son is seven and a blue level quizzer. At regional quiz Saturday he missed a question when he failed to pull a card though he had his hand on the right number.

Here is his explanation:

"Well, I put my hand where I wouldn't forget the number but then when she said that the Israelites were to take a hammer and chisel to the wall of Jericho I started seeing that in my head. It was so funny that I forgot to listen for when to pull my card."

Some of the wrong answer choices are kind of comical. :smilies1722:

He still placed gold. Not bad for a little guy competing with the bigger kids.

Love it!! They can come up with some comical wrong answers. Sometimes, they are so subtle the kids don't catch them and when you are keeping score, it can be hard to keep a straight face and not give it away! LOL

Congratulations to your son for doing such an awesome job!
