A little boy was picked up by his neighbors and taken to church every day. (His parents had been raised in church but had "gotten busy" with life and dropped out.)
One day the boy came home and his dad asked him what he learned.
"Well, Moses, helped God's people get away from Egypt even though they were trapped by the Red Sea," said the boy.
"And how did he do that?" inquired the Dad.
"Well," answered the boy hesitatingly, "He had his men build these great big pontoon rafts and used them kind of like a bridge and got the people across that way."
"Is that what they taught you?" cried the dad.
"Well, no," said he boy.
"Then why did you tell me that?"
"Because you would never believe it the way they told it!"
